The Selmer LaVoix II range was developped by the world french brass maker SELMER prior to its merger with the Americn CONN. Its focus was on providing advanced instruments for professionals developping great sound, a definite ease to play, a respond even better, and play in tune. This alto is the top of the LaVoix II range capturing the interest of today’s upcoming artists and delivering a modern French sound. It incorporates the "right" features, resulting in an instrument that is lighter in weight and deliver all the performance demanded by today’s top players. The acoustic response of Selmer LaVoix II saxophone is quick and fluid through all registers and the neck is specially designed with slight resistance. This combination provides for superior response, and teachers also prefer it for embouchure and air stream development. Key design is compact with professional spring tension for quicker facility.

Other features include a traditional bell flare, high F#, mini-rib construction, multiple adjusting screws, and treated leather pads. The instrument features Selmer USA mouthpiece that help to create an even tone, excellent response and steady intonation. A new lighter weight case thoroughly protects the instrument and offer excellent storage capacity. This model features fine hand engraving on its body and bells.
